Extrusion

Extrusion is a process used to obtain films/panels/calibration plates, which need to be produced in a high quantity.

Granules of resin are liquefied through a screw and machine barrel heated by high pressure. The melted material is then extruded through a circular or slip die.

Extruders are used to obtain final multi-layered products from layers originating from different materials.
